About

me in color-1Hello!  I’m Julie — welcome to Stars Fall Designs!  Although I may not know you all, I truly appreciate every single person who visits (and even reads this part!) and I thank you for stopping by.

I will tell you a little about me –

I started stamping and making cards in 2008 and blogging came soon afterward.  I am currently on the Design Team for the Twilight Tuesday Inspiration Challenge, as well as serving as the site’s Public Relations Administrator.  Come and check out the many challenges we’re doing over there!  I am also just concluding a term as Design Team Manager for the Stamp Sistahs Design Team.  My current crafty love is making journals, sketch books, and anything else I can bind, really!   I have recently opened up an Etsy store featuring some of my handcrafted items, including several journals.

I am pop culture fanatic – a huge music lover, reader, movie and TV watcher, Daily Show devotee, a lover of Glee, a die-hard Red Sox fan – you name it.   While I generally keep this blog to talk of crafty matters, this stuff is of HUGE importance to my life and my single biggest creative influence is Michael Jackson.   (Might not seem obvious, but trust me — it’s true!)   The name of my site comes from one of my other great loves, U2, and the lyrics to their song “One Tree Hill.”

I’ll see you again when the stars fall from the sky and the moon has turned red…

And…what else?  Oh yeah — I’m a married stay-at-home mom living in the suburbs of Boston, Massachusetts.  I love to cook and bake and hate to clean.  I drink a freakish amount of water and I’d be nowhere without huge quantities of Diet Coke with Splenda and Diet Dr. Pepper.

So now you know a little bit about me!  Thanks so much for reading!

Feel free to contact me at julie (at) starsfalldesigns (dot) com (inserting the symbols back in, of course!).  I’d love to hear from you!  Thank you for visiting.
